Our firm specializes in the area of pensions and is advisor to the sponsors and trustees of several funds in Jamaica. We were actively involved in the debate on the Pensions (Superannuation Funds and Retirement Schemes) Act, 2004 and the Regulations, 2006 and have made submissions to the Financial Services Commission, the Minister of Finance and Planning, Select Committees of the House of Representatives and at stakeholders’ meetings which precipitated several meaningful changes to the legislation.
